Label content
Review the formulation-driven information that belongs on the label, including ingredients, claims, cautions, directions and required declarations.
Label, Artwork & Claims Compliance
Baseline reviews regulatory content, claims and their execution on the actual dieline and finished package before the artwork is released for print.
The practical issue
A label can look complete and still fail technically. Mandatory content, type size, bilingual presentation, available display surface, seals, folds and the formed package all matter. Problems found after printer release create avoidable revision costs, production pressure and launch risk.
Review the formulation-driven information that belongs on the label, including ingredients, claims, cautions, directions and required declarations.
Assess how mandatory information is executed on the artwork file and how it will appear on the formed package.
Identify the artwork version, required revisions and included review rounds so comments are resolved before printer release. Review is not an unlimited design loop and does not replace the printer's production responsibilities.
Baseline provides a compliance review within the agreed scope. It does not approve artwork on behalf of Health Canada or guarantee that printed production will match the reviewed file.
Client perspective
“Working with Michael on our labelling review was exactly what you want from a regulatory consultant. He was responsive and quick, but never at the expense of thoroughness. He walked us through the Health Canada compliance process and kept the project on timeline without cutting corners. His attention to detail and depth of knowledge gave us real confidence throughout. We highly recommend Baseline Co. to both new and established brands looking for reliable regulatory support.”
“Working with Mike on the Still In It project was seamless from start to finish. He was exceptionally prompt and thorough, and went above and beyond by putting in overtime to keep us on track through a tight turnaround. Thanks to this, we were able to finalize and send our labelling design to packaging right before the deadline without missing a beat.”
